First Hajj Pilgrims Arrive
The Arab News reports that the first group of Hajj pilgrims is arriving in Saudi Arabia today. Seventy-nine pilgrims from South Africa will make their way to Makkah and Madinah for tours and visits prior to the Hajj. Over the next few weeks, nearly three million people are expected to make their way to Makkah, Saudi Arabia for the annual Hajj pilgrimage.
JEDDAH: The first group of Haj pilgrims is due to arrive in the Kingdom on Thursday, said Abdul Wahid bin Burhan Seifuddin, chairman of the board of directors of the Tawafa Establishment for Non-Arab African Pilgrims.
Seifuddin said the batch, consisting of 79 South Africans, will arrive in two groups — the first, consisting of 54 pilgrims, will go straight to Makkah while the second, consisting of 25 pilgrims, will proceed to Madinah. Seifuddin said he and other Tawafa officials will be at King Abdul Aziz International Airport to receive the pilgrims.

Hajj symbolizes unity. let Muslims all over the world be united and have one voice, not just united in places of worship only and fighting and condemning one another outside the mosque. Let Islam be seen in our actions, businesses, our homes, place of work and in interactions with non Muslims. may Allah accept our ibadah all and count us among His righteous servants.
